This was a pretty exciting week for UFC fans. There was UFC 105 on Saturday, and on Wednesday there was a WEC fight and TUF was on.
Out of all these fights UFC 105: Randy "the natural" Couture vs. Brandon Vera was the most exciting. Couture despite his age, 35, was the favored winner, however Vera definitely put up a good fight. The fight went all three rounds and Couture ended up winning by unanimous decision. This to me was crap because Vera knocked Couture down a couple of times so the fact that all the judges had Couture winning every round made it seem as though the judges were a little biased toward Couture. But whatever he's old, Vera still has plenty of time left.
Another good bout on the fight card was Mick Swick vs. Dan "the outlaw" Hardy. This bout wasn't for a belt or anything but whoever won gets to fight George St. Pierre (also known as GSP) sometime in early 2010. Dan Hardy was expected to win and he did via unanimous decision.
Just to give every one an idea of what these fights are all about here's a video that kinda shows what all these fighters.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdHq0AKh_7Q
The main fight on Wednesday in the WEC was Brown vs. Aldo. Aldo beat Brown when the ref stopped the fight at 1 min 22 seconds in round 2.
Nothing really exciting happened on TUF except Kimbo might fight in the Semi- finals vs. McSweeney if this happens it will be an AWESOME fight, and Branden Schaub beat Jon Madsen.
